HP Govt to acquire Radhaswami Complex as 1000 bedded hospital
Dharamshala Apr 26 (UNI) Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday said that efforts were on to acquire Radhaswami Complex, Paraur in Kangra district to operationalize up to thousand bedded makeshift hospital.
Chief Minister, while presiding over the review meeting here at Conference Hall in D.C. Office said that the State had adequate PPE kits, face masks, sanitization and essential medicines to check the spread of the corona virus along with adequate supply of oxygen. He said that the main focus of the Government is to increase bed capacity for Covid-19 patients to meet out any emergent situation.
The 50 bedded City Centre Multispecialty Hospital at Gaggal would be made functional from tomorrow for Covid-19 patients, he added.
Later, the Chief Minister also visited Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola in Baijnath area of Kangra district where he directed the authorities to increase the bed capacity from 50 to 100 beds.
Meanwhile, the district witnessed seven more deaths in the past 24 hours, mounting the total number of deaths to 32. The district also saw an addition of 409 more positive COVID-19 cases.
