HP Ex-servicemen Corpn. earns Rs. 8 Crore profit in year 2020-21

Hamirpur (HP), Apr 21 (UNI) The HP ex-servicemen corporation has earned a profit of eight crore rupees during the year 2020-21 despite worst COVID-19 conditions. This was disclosed by Chairman of the corporation, Brigadier Khushal Thakur (Retd) on Monday evening.
He said that there was no let up in the activities of the corporation during the worst CORONA crisis last year and the number of outsourcing jobs to security personnel had increased from 1,800 to 2,000.
The chairman said that the Mobile app launched by the corporation on June 17, 2020 had helped the truck operators working with the corporation a lot and this had led to transparency in its working and ending middlemen ship.
He claimed that during the Covid-19 transition period, ex-servicemen security personnel of the corporation were providing continuous service to the affected people like other health workers and police regardless of their health.
It is noteworthy that more than two thousand security personnel of Himpasco, Baddi and ESI Hospital of Parwanoo, Medical College Tanda were performing their duties day and night as Corona warriors in the entire state.
The Chairman said that the corporation has also given a sum of fifty-one lakh rupees to the state government towards COVID-19 solitary fund.
He also said that efforts will also be made to appoint ex-servicemen in various projects / institutions / government departments / public sector undertakings in maximum number of security services.
