How Much Discount Are Maruti Dealers Offering on Discontinued Ciaz Stock..
Massive clearance sales on remaining Ciaz units as Maruti Suzuki ends production of the sedan…
New Delhi: In a surprising move for sedan lovers, Maruti Suzuki dealerships across India are offering massive discounts on the now discontinued Ciaz, in an effort to clear the remaining inventory.
The Ciaz, once known for its spacious cabin, smooth ride, and fuel-efficient engine, has officially exited Maruti’s production line, making way for new-generation models and SUVs that align with current market trends. However, many authorized dealers are still left with unsold stock and are now offering discounts of up to ₹1.5 lakh to clear inventory.
This clearance offer includes a combination of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate offers. Select dealers are even throwing in free accessories and extended warranties to lure potential buyers.
Industry insiders say the discontinuation of the Maruti Ciaz marks the end of an era for the brand in the mid-size sedan segment.
“With the rise in demand for compact and midsize SUVs, sedans like Ciaz have seen a significant drop in popularity,” said a senior automobile analyst.
Despite the low demand, this sudden clearance sale presents a golden opportunity for budget-conscious buyers. The Ciaz still offers a reliable 1.5L petrol engine, comfortable ride quality, and ample boot space, making it an ideal pick for those who prefer sedans over SUVs.
A Maruti dealer in Delhi NCR stated,
“We have limited stock left, and these units are being offered at unbeatable prices. Once they’re gone, there won’t be any restocking.”
Car enthusiasts who have admired the Ciaz for its value-for-money proposition are already lining up for test drives and booking enquiries. However, buyers should act quickly, as availability is limited to existing stock only.
The Ciaz’s departure reflects a wider trend in the Indian auto industry where SUVs now dominate new car sales. Maruti is expected to launch new models in this segment soon
