Himachal: 3 trackers missing from Sissu village (Manali)

Shimla, Jul 30 (UNI) Three trackers are missing from the Sissu check post since Jul 27, 2021, reportedly left to trek towards Ghephan Peak lake (Alias lake) as they did not return back to hotel.
State Disaster Management authority have got this information from Police check post Sissu stating that three tourists (one tourist named Nikunj Jaiswal S/o Dhan Prakash Jaiswal, R/o B-24, Lignite, Shakti Nagar Varsinghsar, Bikaner Rajasthan) and two other companions whose details are not available), were staying at Hotel Triveni at Sissu Village.
They left for the trek towards Ghepan Peak Lake (Alias Lake) on Jul 27, 2021, and were supposed to reach back on Jul 29, 2021. However, they have not reached their destination, thus have been reported missing.
Search for these missing tourists has been initiated.
Ghepan Ghat is located at the altitude of 4140 meters above sea level as the trekking route start from a small hamlet Sissu located on the Manali-Leh highway.
Ghepan Ghat is a tranquil neon-blue glacial lake hidden in the picturesque valley.
