Haryana tops medal tally at Khelo India Youth Games

Chandigarh: Haryana is still leading the medal tally in Khelo India Youth Games and till Wednesday evening, Haryana had won 81 medals, including 28 gold, 23 silver and 30 bronze medals.
Haryana’s wrestlers have won 16 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze medals, while in yoga, Haryana has got one gold and five bronze medals.
Similarly, Haryana got two golds, and six bronze medals in cycling, while one gold and three silver medals were won in Gatka. Similarly, two gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal have been won by Haryana players in shooting.
Haryana has got one silver and three bronze medals in Thang-Ta. On the other hand, Haryana players have won three gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal in weight lifting.
In athletics also, the players of Haryana have shown their might in the sport by winning one gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
Haryana has got one gold and one bronze medal in badminton while one bronze in gymnastics. Similarly, players of Haryana have won one gold and one silver medal in Kabaddi and two silver medals in volleyball. (UNI)
