Haryana to Develop 10 New Integrated Industrial Townships Along Major HighwaysHaryana is advancing its ambitious plan to establish 10 integrated industrial townships across the state, fulfilling a key BJP promise made in its Assembly election manifesto. The government has already identified 10 strategic zones along major highways and expressways, with discussions underway to finalize the development framework.

Key Highlights of the Plan:
Strategic Locations: New Gurugram, Hisar, Sirsa, Greater Faridabad, Bhiwani, Narnaul, Jind, Kaithal, and Ambala.
Pilot Development: Three zones will be developed on a pilot basis.
Focus on Connectivity: Industrial zones will be located near highways and expressway junctions for better accessibility.
Survey for Expansion: Additional districts to be considered beyond the initial 10 zones.
Blueprint Deadline: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has set a one-month deadline for finalizing the blueprint.

Haryana’s Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh confirmed the progress, emphasizing the importance of connectivity for the success of these townships. Areas like New Gurugram and Greater Faridabad, leveraging proximity to key infrastructure such as Jewar Airport, are expected to be key growth areas. The townships will be situated near major expressways like National Expressway 5, Narnaul-Ambala Expressway 152D, and the proposed Dabwali-Panipat Highway.

Additionally, a high-level meeting with NITI Aayog has already been held to finalize potential locations, with a plan to extend the project to more districts after initial implementation.
