Haryana Government Introduces Online MIS Portal for Class 11 Students

Chandigarh : Haryana’s Education Department has made it easier for Class 11 students in government schools to choose their subjects. Now, students don’t have to stand in long lines at school offices. They can select their streams and subjects directly on the school MIS portal.

The new system will start from the 2026-27 session, after approval from the Chief Minister.

Benefits for Students
Students can choose Medical, Non-Medical, or Commerce streams online.
‘Physical Education’ is now available as an optional subject.
The online system is simple, clear, and saves time.
Schools can manage student data more easily.

Why This Step Was Taken
The goal is to give students the freedom to pick subjects they like. Earlier, students sometimes didn’t get complete information in offline processes. Now, all options are on the portal, so students can make informed choices. Around 5 lakh students in Haryana will benefit directly from this digital change.
