Haryana CM Releases 7th Installment of Lado Lakshmi Scheme; ₹205 Crore Transferred to 9.76 Lakh Women Beneficiaries

Chandigarh: Women beneficiaries across Haryana received direct financial assistance as CM Nayab Singh Saini transferred the latest installment under the state’s flagship welfare scheme. The Haryana government on Friday released the seventh installment of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, transferring ₹205 crore directly into the bank accounts of 9.76 lakh women beneficiaries across the state. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini during a programme held in Chandigarh.

Addressing the gathering, CM Saini said the state government is committed to financially empowering women and economically weaker families through targeted welfare initiatives. He added that the direct benefit transfer system has ensured transparency and timely delivery of assistance to beneficiaries.

Apart from the Lado Lakshmi Yojana installment, the Haryana government also transferred ₹1,146.73 crore under 18 different social security pension schemes benefiting over 35.62 lakh people. Scholarship assistance worth ₹100.45 crore was also distributed among 64,923 students belonging to Scheduled Caste, Backward Class and other eligible categories.

The Chief Minister further informed that ₹215.29 crore was released under the Dayalu Yojana for 5,677 families, while ₹38.54 crore as LPG subsidy was credited to the accounts of 11.23 lakh women beneficiaries.

Farmers affected by Kharif 2025 crop losses also received compensation worth ₹370.52 crore directly into their bank accounts. The compensation amount benefited more than 1.50 lakh farmers across Haryana.

CM Saini also launched a digital initiative under which J-Forms for MSP crop procurement during the ongoing Rabi season will now be sent directly to farmers through WhatsApp. He said the move will reduce dependence on middlemen and make services more accessible to farmers.
