Haryana : The Haryana State Transport Department has officially announced that it will launch a special online portal for bus seat booking to assist candidates appearing in the upcoming Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025. The exam is scheduled for 26th and 27th July, and this initiative is aimed at helping students reach their test centers with ease.

Thousands of aspirants from across Haryana are expected to appear for this important examination, which serves as a qualifying test for Group C and D government posts. With many test centers located in distant cities, the state transport department wants to ensure smooth, safe, and stress-free travel for all.

Through this dedicated bus booking portal, candidates will be able to reserve their seats online for both onward and return journeys. Bookings can be made by entering the exam registration number, Aadhar ID, and exam center details. The portal will go live soon, and instructions will be issued on the official Haryana Transport website.

A senior official said, “We want to make sure that no candidate misses the exam due to travel problems. Dedicated buses will operate from rural areas and major depots toward CET centers.”

The department has also partnered with the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) to identify high-density routes. Based on admit card data, extra buses will be deployed, especially in remote districts.

The move has been widely appreciated by candidates and their families. Many shared their gratitude on social media, calling it a “student-friendly and timely step.”

In the previous edition of CET, more than 1.2 lakh candidates used similar bus services provided by the state. This year, authorities expect an even larger turnout.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official Haryana Transport Portal for real-time updates, booking windows, and route maps. The CET will be held under tight supervision and guidelines, with full COVID-safety protocols in place.
