Give proper advise to people: Judge AL Pansare to advocates
Thane , Sep 25 (UNI) Thane Principal District and Sessions Judge AL Pansare on Saturday asked the practicing advocates to give proper advise to the litigants.
Inaugurating the Lok Nyayalaya here, he said that the litigants totally depended on the advocates with high hopes from them and awaiting justice and hence they should give proper advise to them.
He said that the Lok Adalats which are resumed after a big gap will continue and go a long way in resolving the pending issues. The citizens should also make the maximum use of the Alternate Dispute Resolution facilities to get their issues solved.
Also present for the inaugural function were District Judge NK Bramhe, Chairman of the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Council Adv. GB Chavan, District Government Pleader and PP Sanjay Londe, President of the Thane District Courts Bar Association Prashant (Appa) Kadam, and Secretary of the DLSA MR Deshpande.
Mr. Deshpande welcomed the guests and gave details of the panels for the Lokadalat. He also said that as many as 20,000 post litigation matters had been kept in the Lokadalat for resolution. In addition to this the case of MSEDCL and traffic challans had also been kept in the adalat.
In his speech, Bramhe asked the litigants to shed ego and try to get the issues resolved at the earliest so that it is not too late. The citizens should make use of the Lokadalat to the maximum possible extent which results in avoidance of everything.
Adv. Chavan reminded that the first lokadalat in the country started from Thane district and continues even today unabated and several crores get benefit of the same.
He said that the citizens have faith in judiciary and the members of the legal profession and the same should be protected and made strong he said
