Panaji, March 15: Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) on Tuesday signed an MOU to establish an innovation, incubation and business development cell in Goa for the entrepreneurs conceptualized by India Economic development corporation. The incubation cell is a joint initiative of GCCI Women’s Wing and GCCI IT Committee and will be operational for the overall development and support of entrepreneurs, MSME’s, SME’s and start-ups in the State of Goa, a statement from GCCI said. The mission of the incubation Centre is to encourage and support the establishment and growth of innovative and technology-based start-ups in Goa. Benefits of Startup Incubators include helping early-stage companies refine their ideas, create their business plans, work on products to market fit, identify potential sources of raising finance, and network with other start-ups. The aim is to help empower entrepreneurs and support the growth and success of an early-stage startup by giving them access to resources and opportunities. UNI
