Four Drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act at Kangra

Dharamshala: Four persons, all residents from Kangra district were arrested on Saturday under Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Kuthlaid falling under Jawali police station in Kangra district after heroin was seized from his possession, Police said here on Saturday.
Kangra District Senior Superintendent of Police Khushal Chand Sharma told UNI today that under Police Station Jawali police recovered 5.22 grams of heroin from their possession at Kuthlaid falling under Jawali police station in Kangra district on Friday late evening.
SSP said that the accused persons were identified as Abhinandan Kumar resident of Puhada Tehsil Shahpur district Kangra, Manoj Kumar resident of Nadholi Tehsil Jwali district Kangra, Rajat Narayal resident of Kuthed Tehsil Jwali district Kangra and Manu Kumar resident of Siholpuri Tehsil Shahpur district near Kangra.
A case has been registered against the accused persons under section 21, 25, 29-61-85 of NDPS Act at Jawali police station.
SSP said that police arrested the accused persons and the investigation was in progress. (UNI-Represented images)
