Honeywell hires Microsoft India CEO Anant Maheshwari
Honeywell’s new Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kapur will have Maheshwari report directly to him as a Corporate Officer of the Company. Maheshwari will have his office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
BENGALURU: Anant Maheshwari will take over as president and CEO of Honeywell’s High Growth Region portfolio on September 4, 2023, the company announced on Friday in Bengaluru. Ben Driggs, who will assume another leadership position inside the organisation, will be replaced by him.
Maheshwari will serve as a corporate officer for the company and be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He will answer directly to Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur.
Maheshwari resigned from Microsoft India in July. He led Microsoft’s relationship with legislators, clients, clients, business partners, and industry leaders. He was in charge of Microsoft’s whole business and presence in India.
During his tenure there, he oversaw Microsoft India’s transformation into the region with the fastest rate of development for the business, establishing new business model benchmarks for the organisation.
“Honeywell has a history of growth in this portfolio over a lengthy period of time. Anant will support us in building on our track record of achievement, enhancing our capacity to propel profitable growth for the business, according to Kapur.
Maheshwari graduated in 1998 as an industry scholar with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. He also earned a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani.
