First cyber university to be established in Maharashtra, says Minister Uday Saman
Pune, Oct 23 (UNI): Cyber security is a very important aspect, while increasing the use of technology. It is important to have an advanced education in cyber security.
To take this in mind, First cyber university in the country will be established in Maharashtra and the state government is trying to set up the same, said Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant at Suryadatta Group here today.
He was addressing on ‘Cyber Suraksha in the context of online and blended education’ to the students under the ‘Dialogue with Ministers’ program.
He inaugurated the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam auditorium at Suryadatta and unveiled ‘Kokan Vision 2025’ document. Prof. Dr. Sanjay B Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman, Mrs. Sushma Chordiya, Vice-President & Secretary, Siddhant Chordiya, Chief Development Officer, Snehal Navalakha, Dr. Kimaya Gandhi of Suryadatta Group of Institutes and other dignitaries were present. Students along with Sonali Sasar performed Konkani Dance for the minister.
Uday Samant said that, “In the last 19 month we were not able to teach offline. Now, we are opening schools and colleges one by one and switching from online to offline.The mentality of many has changed in the last 19 months. Students are willing to have offline learning and online exams. But we want inclusive and quality education.
Therefore, the emphasis should be on offline education. Vaccination and corona rules need to be followed.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s work was idealistic. I am happy to inaugurate the hall named after him. Students, teachers and all others from the Suryadatta Group should follow Dr. Kalam’s work to shape the future generations. Along with the development of infrastructure, the development of the rites is also important. If good educational facilities reach all, then the state can become academically strong. With this in mind, since becoming the Minister of this Department, with the guidance of many scientists, technicians and education experts, we have been bringing various schemes for the overall development of the students, he added.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya said, “Suryadatta is committed to providing comprehensive and quality education. After the corona crisis, Suryadatta is trying to implement innovative initiatives as an educational and social institution. We are happy that, it is starting in the presence of education minister Uday Samant.
Vishwesh Kulkarni, National President of NIPM, Bholanath Sinh, president of Veterans India, Seema Dabake of Lions Club, Amit Todkar, Sarpanch, Chandrahas Shetty of Lions Club Pune received the documents of various schemes with the hands of Uday Samant.
