Lucknow, April 4: A fake flying squad was arrested by the police during high school and intermediate examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) on Monday. Official sources said that it came to the knowledge that four persons, travelling in a car with Government of India written on it, were visiting examination centers and were trying to influence the center in-charge. “The center in-charge got suspicious and informed the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), Agra, who reached the spot immediately. During preliminary inquiry it was revealed that no such flying squad has been constituted either by the government or the department. Later the police were called and they have been sent to jail,” they said. In between, rumors were spread that science question papers of high school and mathematics papers of intermediate have been leaked on social media. “Director Education Vinay Kumar Pandey asked secretary UPSEB to cross check the question papers. When cross checked the said question paper was found to be fake. Secretary UPSEB Divya Kant Shukla has lodged an FIR at Civil Lines police station in Prayagraj,” sources said. (UNI)
