Eknath Shinde: Maha Govt has taken 72 concrete decisions in 3 months
Nagpur: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday claimed that his government has taken 72 big decisions in the interest of people.
Talking to reporters here at Dr Ambedkar International Airport, Shinde claimed that his government has taken 72 massive decisions in the interest of the people in the last three months and added that he will respond to the opposition’s criticism with his work.
“We have taken 72 big decisions in the interest of the people”, the CM said adding that let the opposition criticize us, we will reply to them with our work”.
About the status of payment of compensation to farmers affected by excessive rains in the state, Shinde said his government fully stands firm with the farmers and added that he has directed his officials to conduct the spot assessment of the crop losses at the earliest.
Later, the CM left Nagpur for Gadchiroli by helicopter to celebrate Diwali with the police in the remote Bhamragadh area of Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district, which is Naxal-hit region.
Earlier, interacting with the media at the airport, the CM said it is a matter of satisfaction to celebrate Diwali with the police force who stay away from their homes and discharge their duties risking their lives even during festival like Diwali.
Shinde further said that development of Gadchiroli district is his first objective and added that it is a matter of joy that Naxalism in the district is gradually ending. (UNI)
