Dvorkovich re-elected FIDE Prez, India’s Vishy Anand is Deputy Prez
Chennai: Russian Arkady Dvorkovich was reelected FIDE President, while India’s Viswanathan Anand elected Deputy President at the elections held on Sunday on the sidelines of the Chess Olympiad at Mamallapuram.
In a tweet, FIDE said Arkavy Dvorkovich was elected for a second term as
President of the International Chess Federation, with 157 votes against 16.
Viswanathan Anand is the new FIDE Deputy President. (UNI)
