Dussehra festival is a symbol of victory of truth over falsehood: Sarveen Choudhary

Dharamshala: Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Chaudhary attended the district level Dussehra festival at Lanj and Shahpur as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, she said that Dussehra celebrated on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood and good over evil. She said that Dussehra has religious significance but this festival is very relevant even today and even today Ravana is alive in the form of many evils. This festival reminds us every year that we can make life better only by destroying the evil form of Ravana. She said that it is a festival celebrated to celebrate the victory of good conduct over bad conduct.
On this occasion, she said that such events play an important role in preserving our ancient values ​​and culture for the future generations. This festival gives us the message of following the path of truth fearlessly. People of all religions participate in this festival and strengthen the spirit of mutual brotherhood, tolerance and social harmony.
She said that the State Government is emphasizing on the construction of indoor auditoriums at all the district headquarters where this facility is not available for organizing various cultural activities and for this a provision of crores has been made in the current financial year.
After this, the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment performed the rituals of Dussehra by offering prayers. (UNI)
