Digvijaya to stage dharna outside CMs house

Bhopal, Jan 20: Rajya Sabha Member Digvijaya Singh announced on Thursday that he would stage a sit-in on Friday in front of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s residence to highlight the plight of submergence-affected people vis-a-vis the Tem and Suthaliya projects.
“I sought time for a discussion and was informed on Wednesday by the Chief Minister’s Office that a meeting has been scheduled at 1115 hrs on Friday. However, on this day I was told that the interaction stands cancelled owing to Mr Chouhan’s busy schedule. This is not proper,” the erstwhile chief minister conveyed via social media.
