Cross-border drug racket busted, 12 kg heroin seized

Amritsar: In a major breakthrough, the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) here has busted a cross-border drug smuggling racket with the arrest of a trafficker. The police seized 12kg of heroin, smuggled from Pakistan through a drone, from him.

The racket was being operated by US-based drug smuggler Sarwan Singh, who is carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his arrest.
