Corona warriors: Haryana health dept constructs ‘Wall of Memory’ in Ambala
Ambala, Dec 2 (UNI) The Haryana Health department has constructed a ‘Wall of Memory’ in the memory of four health workers who lost their lives while doing their duty during the Corona period in Ambala district.
Of the four Corona warriors – two were doctors, one ambulance driver and one para medical staff safai karamchari.
Dr Sukhpreet said that photos of all the warriors were displayed with detail of their lives on the Wall of Memory. He said that the health workers, para medical staff and others fought corona as warriors during which four lives were lost.
The Health department had constructed Wall of Memory to perpetuate their memory in the coming days and people get inspiration from them.
Health Department Director General Veena Singh had planned to raise memory wall in the memory of departed health warriors at the civil hospital Ambala.
Dr Sukhpreet said that photos of two remaining warriors would also be installed after receiving approval from the health department.
Thousands of doctors and health workers laid their lives who worked to save the lives of Corona patients during two waves of Corona in 21 months in the country. They worked selflessly to save the Corona patients admitted in the hospitals.
