Congress, BJP demands Satyendra Jain’s dismissal

New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) on Tuesday staged a demonstration near Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house and demanded the dismissal of Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate(ED) in an alleged money laundering case.
Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta accused Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal of trying to shield Jain. Gupta said if Kejriwal is really honest he should immediately dismiss Jain.
He wondered when Punjab Health Minister could be sacked then why Kejriwal is trying to protect Delhi Health Minister.
Gupta alleged that Kejriwal’s Minister misbehaved with women in the name of issuing them ration cards and was caught in an alleged fake degree case. “All these misdeeds of AAP in the past seven years say it all about their so-called honesty” he said.
Gupta said Kejriwal is saying Jain was arrested because he was made AAP’s in- charge for Himachal Pradesh for ensuing elections there. But the fact is that the probe has been going on for the past seven years hence there is no question of politics in this.

The Congress on Tuesday also demanded immediate dismissal of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain from the Arvind Kejriwal-led Cabinet, a day after he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for his alleged involvement in a case related to money laundering.(UNI)
