CM lays foundation stones of 287 projects worth Rs 2,684 cr

Panchkula: In the run-up to the parliamentary and state Assembly elections, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated 392 projects worth approximately Rs 938 crore and laid the foundation stones of 287 projects valued at Rs 2,684 crore during a function in Panchkula on Thursday. The CM also launched the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY) at a total cost of Rs 600 crore.

A state-level function was organised, where the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 20 major projects via video-conferencing. Some of the major projects launched included the laying of foundation stone of a four-lane elevated road on the Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Vadodara ExpresswayBallabgarh-Mohana Road in Faridabad, costing Rs 214 crore; flyover from Khalsa Chowk to Haryana Nursing Home in Karnal to be built at a cost of Rs 127 crore; inauguration of canal-based water supply scheme for 61 villages at Ateli Mandi in Mahendragarh at a cost of Rs 114 crore; inauguration of water supply scheme for 35 villages in Nimar Badhesara of Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs 112 crore; Fatehabad Jail to be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore; construction of HL Bridge on the Yamuna river to connect Bilaspur to Khojkipur at a cost of Rs 87 crore; foundation stone of flyover at Sukhpura Chowk (Rohtak) at a cost of Rs 65 crore; Old Housing Board Colony at a cost of Rs 61 crore; foundation stone of construction of 126 new houses in Nuh; strengthening of Jhajjar-Kosli road at a cost of Rs 60 crore; Dr BR Ambedkar National Law University at a cost of Rs 59 crore; augmentation of water supply scheme in Barwala, Hisar at a cost of Rs 55 crore; improvement of Rewari-Bawal road at a cost of Rs 53 crore; laying the foundation stone of improvement work of Meham-Kalanour road at a cost of Rs 51 crore; foundation stone for Girls Hostel at PGIMS (Rohtak) at a cost of Rs 46 crore, and many other projects.

In addition, Ministers, MPs, and MLAs inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for projects in functions organised in respective districts.
