New Delhi In the backdrop of escalating trade tensions triggered by former U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff war, China has extended a hand of cooperation toward India, promising to assist in resolving three major challenges faced by New Delhi. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during his meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, assured that Beijing is ready to support India with rare earth minerals, fertilizers, and tunnel boring machinery—sectors that hold strategic and economic significance for India’s future.

The announcement comes at a time when global supply chains are being disrupted by protectionist policies and tariff battles.
