Centenarian beats COVID in Himachal
Shimla, May 28 (UNI) A 102-year-old woman, hailing from Kinnuar district of Himachal Pradesh, was cured and discharged from the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, here on Thursday.
IGMC Superintendent Dr Janak Raj informed that the centenarian woman was tested positive for the virus on May 14 after she complained of chest congestion and high fever. “She was discharged on Thursday after her report was found negative,” the doctor said.
Dr Janak further said that the old woman was not having any attendant or family member. “Responsibility of her treatment was taken by the IGMC staff which is a matter of proud for all of us,” the doc averred.
