CBI Arrests a Dy. CMM of East Central Railways and 2 Others in a Rs. 2 Lakh Bribery case
Hajipur: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has nabbed a Dy. CMM of East Central Railways and his two accomplices on charges of demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. two lakhs. The accused are: Sushil Kumar Gandhi, Deputy CMM of Central Railways’ Eastern Div. and two other co-accused namely Raman Chaurasia, a peon and Aman Kumar Rai, a civilian.
There are three more accused in the bribery case, at different locations of Railways, as per FIR. These are reported to be i) Ankur Tiwari, employee of M/s Sell Scale, Vashi, Navi Mumbai; ii). Bikki Kumar (a private person) and representative of Abrol Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Kapurthala, Punjab; iii) Anabayan N., representative of ASK Power Tech and Asian Cooling System, Tamil Nadu.
More details are awaited as searchers are being conducted at 8 places related to Railways operations, according to CBI sources. (Inputs from PIB)
