‘Both of us are hard-headed and hot-headed’
Kubbra Sait, an actor, expressed her pleasure at working with industry veterans like Kajol while discussing her role in her most recent television series while talking about her character.
BENGALURU: A number of years ago, Kubbra Sait completed multiple viewings of the American courtroom drama Suits. A quick jump forward in time reveals that she currently has a role in the just released courtroom drama titled “The Trial.” “I have, in point of fact, seen each and every episode of Suits. According to Sait, who plays the character of Sana Shaikh, a consultant at the firm, one of the most appealing aspects of the show is that “there is so much emphasis on the lives of people and not just the court cases.”
She says that Sana is the type of person who wears her confidence “like a chip on her shoulder.” “There is no one who can defeat her. And she takes everything in stride and accomplishes everything that needs to be accomplished despite it all. She is the type of person who accepts responsibility and is aware of the significance of the seemingly insignificant achievements she can achieve. Sana is capable of achieving anything, regardless of how challenging, impossible, or unattainable it may seem to others. Therefore, I consider her to be an unbeatable character. Sait says about the role, “She is probably one of the coolest characters I’ve played so far.”
The actress discovered that she shared a lot of characteristics with Sana. “I feel that there are a few clear similarities between Sana and me, such as having a strong will, a fiery temper, being sexy, being proud of what she does, and not being sorry for who she is. The distinction, on the other hand, would be that I am significantly more sensitive and emotionally present than Sana is as a human being,” says Sait, who has a very next-door look in the series. Sait plays a character in the show who has a very next-door appearance. “The goal was to give the impression that she was very approachable,” she explains further.
Sait has never been shy about expressing how much she looks up to Kajol, who is the show’s star. Sait believes that having the opportunity to collaborate with her is a once in a lifetime chance because “She’s forged such a strong connection with the audience over the course of two decades now.” She is one of the most hilarious actors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She maintains a low profile and is very professional at all times. She is willing to work with others, and she is well versed in her lines. Which is something that a decent actor should have, in my opinion. It was a private performance just for the three of us. Sait recalls that during the filming days, “we constantly interacted in the downtime between scenes.”
In addition to Kajol, the show features other well-known actors and actresses such as Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, and Alyy Khan, to name just a few. “Everyone in the show is so good to look at in terms of character development, and they all inspired me to be better,” she continues to say.
Sait, who was most recently seen in Farzi, is excited about some upcoming fascinating ventures.Everyone here is keeping their fingers crossed in the hopes that The Trial will be renewed for a second season. We are very excited about the prospect of working on Farzi Season 2. Therefore, a lot of positive events are taking place. Sait states, “I worked with Prakash Jha, and I would like to think that I am a force to reckon with.” He continues, “Good things seem to be happening, and I worked with Prakash Jha.”
