Blind School urges Telangana Govt to bail it out, appeals Governor’s intervention
Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) Hyderabad based Development and Welfare Association of the Blind(DWAB) which runs Nalgonda School for Blind at Nalgonda, on Thursday requested the Telangana Government to bail them out as it is unable to pay staff salaries and maintenance charges.
Due to Corona, the Union Government has not released its grant for the year 2020-21 and uncertain about 2021-22, the association General Secretary Chokka Rao said in a release here.
Mr. Chokka Rao met Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, who was on a tour in Nalgonda, submitted a memorandum urging her to direct the Telangana Government with regular grant equal to the salaries paid by it for outsourcing and contract employees needed
