BJP’s patriotism is on shaky ground: Charanjit Singh Sapra
Panaji: Though Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) preaches nationalism, its patriotism is on a shaky ground, All India Congress Committee (AICC) Spokesperson and Mumbai Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Charanjit Singh Sapra alleged on Saturday.
”From Udaipur, Amravati to J&K they have a lot many things to answer-yet the BJP leadership keeping quiet,” he said.
In the gruesome murder of Kanahiyalal in Udaipur, accused Riyaz Ansari is found to be office-bearer of BJP Minority Morcha, close to former Home Minister Gulabchand Katariya. Riyaz was working in G Katariya’s son-in-law Atul Chandaliya’s factory. Why should the NIA not investigate relations between G Katariya, Atul Chandaliya and Riyaz Ansari?,” he told reporters.
”In Amravati murder Umesh Kohle, main absconding accused Irfan Shaikh is a close worker of MP Navneet Rana and MLA Ravi Rana. Both Rana’s are protected by BJP. Why Rana’s are not being investigated?,” he asked.
”Last week, LeT Terrorist Talib Hussain was caught in Kashmir. He is IT cell head of BJP in Srinagar. Talib has confessed to a plan of LET to kill Amarnath Yatri’s, unfortunately BJP has no answers for this. In 2020 1st May – Tariq Ahmed Mir was arrested by CRPF along with DSP Davinder Singh. He was BJP office-bearer involved in arranging Fire arms for Hizbul Mujahideen. NIA had clearly stated in charge-sheet that Tariq Ahmed Mir and Davinder Singh worked for terrorists. Why is the inquiry against Davinder Singh on hold?,” the Congress leader asked.
”What was his role in Pulwama?? How did 300kg RDX come in a high security zone? Then Governor Satyapal Mallik had alleged huge intelligence failure. The BJP Govt is silent on this,” he added.
”I Would term BJP as “Bharat Jalao Party” which wants to keep the pot of communal divide and enmity boiling. They can hire anti-national elements, protect extremists by giving them party posts and patronage. The muscle and money power are being grossly misused,’ he alleged.
