New Delhi, April 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the BJP workers and legislators from across the country on the party’s 42nd Foundation Day on Wednesday. The Prime Minister took to Twitter to make an announcement in this regard. “Tomorrow, 6th April is a special day for us BJP Karyakartas. We mark the foundation day of our Party. We recall all those who have built the party and served people tirelessly. At 10 AM today, I will be addressing fellow Karyakartas. Do join,” the PM said in a tweet late on Tuesday. Addressing the media, BJP General Secretary Arun Singh said the party will also organize programs on “social justice” across the country from April 6 to 20. The saffron party will also organize programs on late Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on April 14. BJP, founded on April 6, 1980, is now the country’s largest political party in terms of representation in national Parliament and state Assemblies. The origin of the party lies in the Bhartiya Jana Sangh, formed in 1951 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
