Kangra, April 23: National BJP President and MP Jagat Prakash Nadda Saturday visited Bajjreshwari Temple in Kangra town, one of the 52 Shakti-peeths and hoped that BJP will regain power under the leadership of Chief minister Jairam Thakur in the coming polls scheduled to be held at the end of the year. He was talking to the media persons after he paid obeisance in the temple along with his family and Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. He said Goddess Bajjreshwari has blessed him and he was feeling more energetic after he visited the shrine. He hoped the Goddess would bless BJP for serving society and the country in the right perspective. Nadda said the party was serving the country with full strength. He said he hoped the people of the state would bring them to power again and he assured them that the party will come up to their expectations. He refused to reply to the queries of the media persons regarding the temple management and the delay in the four lane National Highways in the state. He said it was better to ask these questions to the Chief minister who was sitting by his side. When asked about delay in the expansion of the Kangra Airport, Nadda first refused to speak on the issue but later on said the expansion will take place only during the BJP rule. Regarding the delay in the works, the government-controlled temples in the state Nadda asked the media persons to know this from the chief minister. He told the journalist that he was not updated about the query he was making. (UNI)
