Biden pays a Surprise visit to Kiev: “Putin Thought Ukraine Was Weak, Dead Wrong”

Kyiv, Ukraine: US President Joe Biden made a surprise trip to Kyiv on Monday ahead of the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, AFP journalists saw.

Biden met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Ukrainian capital on his first visit to the country since the start of the conflict.

Russia-Ukraine conflict started on Feb. 24 last year and most art f the cpuntry has been devastated in the war. Some regions have been ‘annexed’ by Russia last year.
