Baisakhi and Ambedkar-Mahavir Jayantis celebrated across India

Srinagar/Delhi/Lucknow, APR 14: Baisakhi, the festival of Harvesting and joy was celebrated in Gurudwaras across the country on April 13-14.  Bhajan Kirtan was attended by Punjabi community in Srinagar’s Gurudwara ‘Chhati Patshahi’.

Lakhs of Sikh Sangat thronged Guru Harmandir Saheb Gurudwara for paying their reverence to the Sikh Gurus, in Amritsar.

In the forecourt of Parliament House, President RN Kovind, Vice President Nayudu, PM Modi and Speaker Lok Sabha paid tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, symbolizing formation of Constitution of India after we got independence in 1947.

BSP supremo Mayawati paid floral tribute to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary at BSP party office in Lucknow on Thursday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid floral tributes to the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary in Lucknow.

Reports of celebrations of Mahavir Jayanti also poured in from different places of the country on Thursday.
