Ayodhya Hosts Second Grand Ram Temple Ceremony

Ayodhya : is witnessing another historic spiritual moment as the Ram Temple hosts its second grand Pran Pratishtha (life-infusing) ceremony today. The sacred rituals are being held during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat, between 11:30 AM and 12:00 noon. This event involves the ritualistic infusion of life into various deities’ idols, reaffirming their spiritual presence in the newly constructed sanctums of the temple complex.

While the first Pran Pratishtha ceremony in January marked the consecration of the main idol of Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum, today’s event is equally significant. It includes the spiritual activation of multiple deities placed throughout the temple’s grand structure. This time, seven smaller temples within the main complex, each dedicated to different gods and goddesses, are being spiritually sanctified through elaborate Vedic rituals performed by expert priests from across India.

The temple premises are adorned with vibrant floral decorations, ceremonial lamps, and traditional music, echoing the scale and grandeur of the original celebration earlier this year. However, unlike the first ceremony which had the attention of the entire nation and participation from top political and spiritual leaders, today’s event is more centered around traditional rites without massive public or political presence. It focuses deeply on scriptural precision and spiritual completeness.

Devotees and temple officials believe that today’s event marks the full spiritual activation of the entire Ram Mandir complex. It is a step toward completing the religious and cultural revival that the temple represents for millions of Hindus worldwide. As the temple nears completion architecturally, the spiritual ceremonies like today’s play a crucial role in preparing it as a center of devotion and pilgrimage.

Security has been heightened in and around the temple complex, and the rituals are being streamed online to allow remote devotees to take part in the divine celebration.

This second Pran Pratishtha reaffirms the sanctity of the Ram Janmabhoomi and is a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation of Ayodhya into a spiritual hub. The temple continues to stand not only as a magnificent architectural feat but as a living symbol of faith, heritage, and devotion.
