Army Goodwill Schools offer Virtual Career Guidance in J&K, Ladakh
Over 2000 students benefit from Army Goodwill Schools programs
Jammu, Sep 16 (UNI) More than 2000 students from 26 partner Army Goodwill Schools under Bharti Foundation’s Satya Bharti Quality Support Program were provided virtual career guidance to make them future ready in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
Started on September 7, the 12 days long initiative will continue till September 18.
Expert team of mentors with multiple years of experience including Ritu Bansal, Mudasir Shah and Sahil Bhat ensured that students get the best guidance.
Each student received career guidance as per his/her interests and aptitude.
On completion of these sessions, students will appear for online psychometric tests, which will also include report reading. Subsequently, a lecture series will be organized for students by internal and external resource persons.
Talking about the initiative Brig Brijesh Pandey, BGS, IW, Northern Command, said, “The students are the future of our county. It is extremely important that they are given the right guidance and information. Initiatives like these help in building awareness, character, skills and attitude which will go a long way in helping students make the right career choices.”
Ms Saikia, CEO, Bharti Foundation, further added, “We have been working to improve the accessibility and quality of education across India. Career guidance plays a pivotal role in helping students achieve their goals. It also gives children the ability to identify the career options that match their caliber.”
