AR Rahman composed Bathukamma special song released by TRS MLC Kavitha

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) Ahead of the first day of Bathukamma (floral festival) which begins on Wednesday, TRS MLC and Telangana Jagruthi founder Kalvakuntla Kavitha and film director Gautham Vasudev Memon released the Bathukamma special song produced by Telangana Jagruthi here on Tuesday.
The song ‘ Allipoolavennela’ shot in the districts of Telangana was composed by music director A R Rahman, sung by Uthara Unnikrishnan, written by Mittapalli Surender and choreographed by national award winner Brinda.
Bathukamma is celebrated by the women folk of Telangana, heralding the beauty of nature in vibrant colors of multitudinous flowers.
The festival begins a week before the grand ‘Saddula Batukamma’ (the grand finale of the Batukamma festival) which falls two days before Dussehra.
Taking on micro blogging platform twitter on the occasion, Rahman said : “A festival of life. A celebration of togetherness. Bringing you a glimpse of the beauty of Bathukamma through “#AllipoolaVennela” along with Telangana Jagruthi,” he tweeted.
