Approval for PGI Chandigarh Doctor Recruitment Soon
Nadda to Attend IB Meeting in Delhi on 16th, Vacancy Pending for a Long Time…..
Chandigarh : The approval for the recruitment of doctors at PGI (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) is expected to be finalized soon. The recruitment process, which has been stalled for a long time, is set to get a green light as Union Health Minister, JP Nadda, will hold a crucial meeting in Delhi on May 16th with the Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials.
The recruitment of doctors at PGI has been pending for several months, causing a significant shortage of medical professionals at one of India’s leading medical institutes. With the growing need for specialized medical staff, the delay in recruitment has affected the hospital’s ability to cater to its large patient base efficiently.
The meeting between Nadda and IB officials in Delhi is anticipated to clear the last hurdles for doctor recruitment at PGI. The recruitment process has been held up due to certain procedural issues and security clearances, but with Nadda’s involvement, the approval is now expected to be given swiftly.
PGI Chandigarh, known for its exceptional healthcare services, has long been in need of additional medical staff to address the increasing patient load. Many departments have been operating with limited manpower, and the lack of sufficient doctors has been affecting the quality of patient care.
The Health Ministry is aware of the situation and is actively working towards resolving the issue. Nadda’s intervention is seen as a positive step in expediting the recruitment process and ensuring that PGI gets the necessary manpower to continue its operations effectively.
This development comes as a relief to both PGI staff and the patients who rely on the institute for specialized medical care. The authorities are hopeful that the recruitment process will be completed without further delay, leading to better healthcare services at PGI.
