Anti-BJP parties to have a Meet at Jammu today

Jammu: The non-BJP parties including the brigade of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) will hold All Party Meet at Jammu on Saturday in the backdrop of alleged voting rights to non-locals in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Polls.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Jammu residence of National Conference president and former J&K Chief Minister and sitting Member Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah.
“The meeting is to be held to garner support of more political and social parties against the ‘inclusion’ of non-locals in Jammu and Kashmir’s electoral roll,” said a senior leader.
He said that the meeting will take place under the leadership of PAGD president Farooq Abdullah and almost everyone including former minister and president Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan Party Choudhary Lal Singh, Harsh Dev Singh of AAP, Ex MLA Balwant Mankotia group, Ghulam Nabi Azad’s fraction have also been invited.
Confirming the meeting, former MLA, M Y Tarigami, who is also the PAGD convener and spokesperson, told UNI, “Each and every section and political social group is invited except the BJP.”
“All Non-BJP parties are invited for the meeting,” he added, adding that the agenda of the meeting is inclusion of non-locals in the electoral process. (UNI)
