New Delhi : Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, another evacuation flight carrying 310 Indian nationals from Iran safely landed in New Delhi today. The flight was part of an ongoing government-led effort to bring back Indian citizens stranded in conflict-hit areas due to increasing security concerns. The operation was coordinated by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Tehran and civil aviation authorities.

According to officials, the special aircraft took off from Tehran late last night and landed in Delhi early this morning. Passengers onboard were relieved to have returned home safely after facing weeks of uncertainty and fear due to rising tensions between Iran and Israel. Most of the passengers included students, professionals, and families who were living or working in various Iranian cities.

The Indian government has been monitoring the geopolitical situation in the region very closely and has intensified its efforts to evacuate its citizens from areas of potential conflict. Earlier this week, a similar flight brought back over 200 Indians from different parts of Iran. Authorities are expected to continue these missions in the coming days based on need and security assessments.

Upon arrival in Delhi, the passengers were screened at the airport as per health and immigration protocols. Arrangements were also made for their onward travel and accommodation where needed. MEA officials present at the airport ensured that all necessary assistance was provided to the returnees. Many passengers expressed gratitude toward the Indian government for acting swiftly and ensuring their safety.

The situation in the Middle East remains fragile, and advisory alerts have been issued to Indians residing in the region to stay updated and remain in close contact with the embassy. With the geopolitical climate continuing to evolve, the Indian government has reiterated its commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad.

The successful completion of yet another evacuation flight highlights India’s readiness and preparedness in responding to international emergencies involving its diaspora.
