Announcement of two big demonstrations of farmers in Amritsar on January 2 and Bathinda on January 6.

Chandigarh: Farmers in Punjab are once again preparing for a big movement. Today a meeting was held at Chandigarh Kisan Bhawan between the leaders of 18 farmer labor organizations of North India and United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political). During this period, two big demonstrations were announced.

Farmer leaders Sarwan Singh Pandher and Jagjit Singh Dallewal said in this meeting that preparations for another movement have been started. According to the information, farmers are sending a message to the Center to get their previous pending demands met. The farmers have been reminded of their demands through letters. During this, farmers said that on January 2, lakhs of people will gather at Jandiala Guru in Amritsar, Majha and on January 6, in Barnala, Malwa, and protest against their demands.

MSP guarantee law should be made for all crops, rates of all crops should be given as per C2+50% formula on the instructions of Dr. Swaminathan Commission. All the loans of farmers should be waived off. Ajay Mishra should be dismissed from the cabinet and arrested. Ashish Mishra’s bail should be cancelled. Appropriate action should be taken against all the accused and as per understanding, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh should be given to the injured.

All types of cases found during all movements across the country including Delhi Front should be cancelled. Compensation and jobs should be given to the families of farmers and laborers who were martyred during the movements and space should be given in Delhi for the Martyr Memorial in Delhi Morcha. It was also agreed not to implement the Electricity Amendment Bill that hands over the electricity sector to private hands, but all these issues were not resolved.
