ovely bride, who has slayed in all her pre-wedding outfits, was a sight to behold, in a red and golden heavily embroidered lehenga. The pretty girl made a style statement of sorts with silver kaleeras, choker, a long neckpiece and a maang teeka. She chose glam makeup and red lips to accentuate her look. Anmol Ambani looked sauve in a grey-coloured sherwani, as he arrived with his barat, dancing to the beats of the dhol, along with his family members. The much-in-love couple held each other’s hand throughout the ceremonies, which took place at a dreamy venue, recreating the magic of a fairy tale. The beautifully decorated path, showcasing flowers and lanterns, was lit up by diyas hanging from tree branches. A giant Ganesha statue placed at the centre of the venue made the ambience divine. The guest list looked impressive with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan leading the line, along with wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda, grand-daughter Navya Naveli and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai. Amitabh looked elegant in an ivory and beige kurta set layered with a long jacket. He also sported a matching pagri and oversized glasses to complete his look. Earlier today, Shweta had shared a photo on Instagram with her mother Jaya Bachchan and daughter Navya Naveli Nanda. The ladies of three generations got dressed up in stunning Indian ensembles to attend the wedding. Royal is an understatement for the portrait that she shared. “You, Me & Dupree,” she wrote in the caption as she shared the picture. Jaya Bachchan wore a regal golden and red sari featuring intricate threadwork all over the expanse. She teamed it up with a solid red blouse and a royal long necklace. She completed the look with polki kada bangles, a red bindi and a neat hair bun. Shweta and Navya, on the other hand, rocked heavily-embroidered lehengas from the designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Shweta’s lehenga was splayed with multi-hued and elaborate motifs. Her ensemble comprised a full-sleeve blouse and a matching dupatta. She tied her hair at the back and completed her look with a heavy necklace and polki studs. Navya Naveli also slipped into a multi-colored lehenga with a blue base. However, unlike Shweta’s ensemble, Navya attire featured intricate prints and geometric patterns. Navya teamed her lehenga with a sleeveless bustier blouse and a dupatta. She rocked a delicate yet statement layered necklace and a dazzling pair of studs. Open hair and natural-looking makeup is what completed her stunning look! Designer-duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla also shared a picture of Shweta and Navya dressed in their dreamy creations. Actor Aishwarya Rai, looking resplendent in a red floral sari and traditional gold jewellery, stole the limelight. The Bachchan had also marked their presence at Anil’s family home, Sea Wind at Cuffe Parade in Mumbai, during the pre-wedding festivities. Anmol is the elder son of Anil Ambani and Tina Ambani, while Khrisha is a social worker and entrepreneur. The couple met each other through their families. Earlier in the day, Khrisha’s sister, Nriti, had taken to her Instagram handle to share an unseen glimpse of her mehendi ceremony. In the photo, Khrisha and Anmol posed with their mothers, Falguni Dave and Tina Ambani. Atop it, Nriti had written “Doting mothers-in-law-to-be.”
