All voters should exercise their franchise for a strong democracy: Nipun Jindal
Dharamsala: The Kangra district administration is engaged in making voters aware of innovative experiments to ensure maximum turnout with everyone’s participation in the assembly elections.
In a new experiment in a series of various programs, the district administration organized a ‘Flash Mob’ on Monday at the Kachari base of Dharamsala for voter awareness.
In this program organized under SVEEP activity, students of NSS of Government College Dharamshala motivated the people to vote 100 percent through flash mob (instant theatrical presentation).
On this occasion, District Election Officer Dr. Nipun Jindal said that voters are being made aware through various new and traditional activities under Sveep in the district under which a program was presented by flash mob in Dharamshala today.
He said that it is the endeavor of the administration that on the day of polling on November 12, all the voters in the district should come out of their homes and exercise their franchise. It is the endeavor of the administration that all the voters should exercise their franchise in the right way for a strong democracy.
On this occasion, SVEEP’s District Nodal Officer and Additional Deputy Commissioner Gandharva Rathore Assistant Commissioner Om Kant Thakur, Assistant Nodal Officer Sudhir Bhatia were present. (UNI)
