All Govt Hospitals Should Be Equipped with Modern Facilities: CM Saini

The Chief Minister reviewed in detail the works related to repair of hospital buildings, electrical maintenance, cleanliness and beautification from reception and wards to public facilities, and efforts to make the premises green. He directed the officers that all government hospitals in the state must be absolutely clean and beautiful. There will be no shortage of funds for this work.
He instructed the officers to lay special emphasis on the “cleanliness culture” in hospitals. Strict action will be taken against any officer or employee who shows negligence in cleanliness, while those performing excellently will be honoured.
Chief Minister said that patients visiting hospitals should not face any kind of inconvenience and special attention must be given to this. He also stated that after repair works of hospital buildings are completed by the Public Works Department, their maintenance responsibility lies with the Chief Medical Officer of the hospital.
The Chief Minister also directed to take care of the plants in the hospital premises, plant more trees as required, and keep the parks well-maintained.
