Una (HP): The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday promised to bring radical changes in the medical setup in the state of Himachal Pradesh and promised the people that if voted to power, the party would provide free and quality medical treatment to people.
While addressing a public meeting at Una today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said that it would be a second guarantee to the people of the state as it had already announced qualitative education to the students and to develop state schools on the lines of Delhi besides regularizing temporary teachers and filling vacant posts.
They also promised to provide Rs 1 crore to next of the kin of those Army jawans who die in the line of duty.
Earlier, Manish Sisodia said CBI and ED raids should be conducted on the houses of those leaders who did not build quality schools and hospitals in the past 75 years and rather fooled the people on various issues.
But they were raiding the houses of those who were building better schools and hospitals, he said. He said that the AAP was a party of the common people and would continue to serve them in a befitting manner.
Mann said 75 Mohalla Clinics were opened in Punjab on the pattern of Delhi on Independence Day.
Talking about PM Narendra Modi’s recent statement on freebies, Mann said that the Delhi government was paying back to the public its money by providing free bus services to women, free medical treatment, and education.
They claimed that the party would win the elections in the state and give a new direction to the people of the state who had done a lot for the wellbeing and welfare of the masses. (UNI)
