Investment proposalsfor Rs 6,199 Cr received in Bihar during pandemic : Shahnawaz
Patna, Jun 4 (UNI) Bihar Industries Minister Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday said that the state had received concrete investment proposals of Rs 6,199 Crores during Corona pandemic, which was a good sign.
Mr Hussain said here that dream of Bihar of becoming self sufficient would come true under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. There was no dearth of people interested for investment in Bihar, he added.
“During Corona pandemic period Bihar has received investment proposal of Rs 6,199 Crores and proposals of Rs 2000 Crores were expected to come by the end of this month,” Mr Hussain said adding that investment proposals were mainly related to ethanol, rubber food processing health care and plastic manufacturing. Bihar was the first state to roll out ethanol production investment promotion policy and recently Oxygen production policy had also been rolled out to attract investment in this sector.
