Major fire destroys pearl factory in Thane

Thane, May 29 (UNI) A devastating fire broke out in a pearl factory in Bhiwandi town of the district late on Saturday night, destroying it totally.
The fire broke out at around 2145 hours in the factory at Pirani Pada.
However, no one was injured in the fire incident, officials said.
Two fire engines rushed to the spot and brought it under control at around 2235 hrs.
The cause of fire is being probed, sources added.
