Punjab : In a major governance initiative, Punjab’s Deputy Commissioners (DCs) will now visit villages to directly hear and address residents’ grievances. The new policy mandates DCs to conduct field visits four days a week, ensuring real-time resolution of issues and better administrative outreach.
