CM ‘wants’ JOA-IT results out but ministers not cooperating
Under the “Swachh Teerath Abhiyan” being run across the country on the call of the Prime Minister, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jai Ram Thakur along with other party workers and officials participated in a cleaning campaign at Shri Radha-Krishna temple located at Bhuntar today.
The former CM said that it was unfortunate that the Chief Minister is saying that he wants to release the results of JOA IT recruitment but Cabinet ministers are not cooperating with him. While replying to a query after participating in the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ here today, he said that JOA IT candidates are protesting outside the Secretariat for their results and not to seek consensus in the Cabinet.
Earlier, while addressing the gathering, Thakur said that the present government had failed on every front. It is clear from the current scenario that it is not within the power of the Congress government to manage the state. He said in the first meeting of the Cabinet the guarantee of providing one lakh jobs was given by senior Congress leaders, but today the same Cabinet is being accused of withholding the results of old recruitments and creating obstacles in providing employment to the youth.
The LoP said no section of the society is untouched by the welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister. He said India had made historic progress in every field under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
