1940 – Hitler orders invasion in England on Sept 21, Operation-Seelowe.
1967 – Sweden begins driving on right-hand side of road. Today almost 65% countries drive on right-had side. (In the past, almost everybody travelled on the left side of the road because that was the most sensible option for feudal, violent societies. Since most people are right-handed, swordsmen preferred to keep to the left in order to have their right arm nearer to an opponent).

2017 – North Korea conducts its sixth and largest ever nuclear test, saying it had successfully conducted a test of a hydrogen bomb.

2017 – 1.4 ton WWII bomb defused in Frankfurt, Germany with 60,000 people evacuated, the largest postwar.
