Indian Diaspora in Germany celebrate Independence Day; Consulate General showers praises

Frankfurt (Germany): Indian diaspora organized a grand function and roadshow in Frankfurt on the occasion of 77th Independence Day on Tuesday, the August 15. Indians living in Germany also gather quite often to celebrate Indien Fest, to strengthen cultural bonding and support to positive developments back home in India.

Initiatives like #Mittikikhushboo and #Mittikiyaden play a very important role in strengthening their ties with the motherland as well as sorting out social issues locally.

Kamal Vatsain, a senior member of the Indian community in Frankfurt, a delegate member to the  Europa Union, Friends of India and active in various forums has got special praise from Consulate General of India in Frankfurt, for his efforts in highlighting Indian diaspora’s activities through media posts.

There has been good support for Govt of India’s perfect projection of G-20 activities in various towns (more than 50 towns hosted G-20 events) including Srinagar, the capital of strife torn state of Jammu & Kashmir, after repeal of Article 370 and tactical control over terrorists’ activities.

In the article, Mr. Vatsain appreciated the efforts of Consul General’s office and heads of the mission (CGI) Mr. Amit Telang, Mrs. Pratibha Parker and Mr. Raveesh Kumar, who is now posted as India’s Ambassador to Finland, in motivating to stay connected through community events in their areas.

Mr. Vatsain also mentioned contribution of members of Indian community, namely late Mr. Sarvjit Singh Sidhu, late Mr. Kai and others including Mr. Deshpande, Vipin Mishra,  Kishan Agarwal, Bimal Roy, Prahlada Nagendrappa, Ajit Ranade,  Bibhu Mohanty and Himanshu Patel.
